Joey Harrington, Detroit Lions QB and pianist, will perform with the Oregon Jazz Ensemble to launch the University of Oregon School of Music $15.2 million building renovation and expansion campaign. Other notable alumni at this elegant evening concert will include dance performer and choreographer, Barry McNabb (1981) and award winning jazz guitarist, Richard Smith (1983). McNabb and Smith will each receive the 2004 School of Music Distinguished Alumnus award and Smith will also perform with the Oregon Jazz Ensemble during the evening concert. The dinner concert will be held June 11, 2004 at the Club Room at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

The Oregon Legislature has approved bonding for half of the project, requiring the remaining $7.6 million to be raised from private sources. UO President Dave Frohnmayer has named the project as one of three capital priorities on campus as part of the University-wide fundraising campaign. To date, $2.35 million has been raised
from private sources, and the top seven donors to the building campaign thus far will be honored at the dinner concert.

“Circle 3 Benefactor” tickets are $125 per person and include entry to a private reception, photos with Dave Frohnmayer and Joey Harrington and priority seating for the dinner and concert. “Circle 3 Patron” tickets are $75 per person and include entry to a cocktail reception and the dinner and concert.
