For as much as this country loves the sport of football — and I include myself in that — there are thousands of things that are more important. I think we lose sight of that sometimes. In our race to win on the field, we forget about the human beings who make it all happen. About the people dealing with their own struggles, far away from the glam and glitz of the gridiron.
I found something more important, and I have absolutely no regrets.
